1. Brand new original PMAC2-PCI
The hardware can be directly inserted into the PCI slot of the industrial computer, but it cannot run immediately after power on. The complete software process is required:
Shut down and insert the idle 5V PCI slot, fix the baffle;
Start up and install the driver PComm32 PRO;
Install and debug PeWin32 Pro2 software;
P2Setup wizard to configure the number of boards, axes, and output modes;
Download motor parameters PID、 Motion program, set the servo and put it into use.
2. Disassemble second-hand/refurbished cards
It is strictly prohibited to directly use the machine, and all items must be tested:
Check whether PCI bus communication and serial communication are normal;
4/8-axis pulse PWM、 Verify the continuity of each encoder channel one by one;
Flash and EEPROM read and write tests confirm that parameters are not lost;
Long term aging under full load, check DSP and capacitors for no heating or bulging;
Verify that the firmware is not damaged, clear the old device parameters, and reconfigure.
