ICS Triplex T8431 is a product designed specifically for ICS Trusted ™ A 40 channel 24VDC DC analog input (AI) module designed for a series of safety control systems. As one of the core components of the system, it is specifically designed to collect analog signals from the field and transmit them to the system for processing.

1. Core functions and hardware specifications
High precision data acquisition: T8431 is designed to provide reliable and accurate analog input signals for Trusted TMR systems. It adopts advanced conversion technology and circuit design, which can achieve high-precision conversion from analog signals to digital signals, ensuring accurate and error free transmission of signals to the control system.
Wide range and high resolution: It has the characteristics of wide input voltage range and high resolution, and can adapt to rapidly changing process parameters. This module belongs to the current suction type and can interface with up to 40 active field input devices.
Line monitoring and diagnosis: Through the built-in line monitoring feature, the module can independently detect the on-site cable open and short circuit conditions of each channel. In addition, it also supports Sequential Event Recording (SOE) reporting on the board, with a time resolution of up to 1ms.

2. System level collaboration and security features
The third mock examination redundancy (TMR) architecture: T8431 adopts the third mock examination redundancy technology to achieve high reliability and fault tolerance. In conjunction with the “two out of three” logical voting method of the TRICONEX/Trusted system, the system can identify component faults and automatically troubleshoot them, allowing for online repair of faulty components without interrupting process operations.
Seamless fault switching: In the event of a failure in any channel of the I/O module, the system ensures that the module can maintain operation for up to 1500 hours and still meet the safety standards of TUV AK6.
Hot replacement capability: Supports hot replacement of adjacent slots/smart slots, and maintenance personnel can directly perform module level replacement without interrupting continuous production.
