EPALM10-DA71 is a Hand Operated Pitch Controller in the UniOP series. This device is designed specifically for the blade pitch control system of wind turbines and serves as a key human-machine interaction terminal for manually adjusting the blade pitch angle inside the nacelle.
1. Core features and functions
Pitch control core: This handheld controller is the core control terminal of the wind turbine pitch system. The operator directly controls the pitch angle of the blades through it to adjust the power output of the generator set and the safety of the wind turbine.
IP65 protection level: With an IP65 protection level, it can effectively prevent dust from entering and resist water sprayed from all directions, adapting to harsh environments such as humidity or water mist inside the cabin.
Communication capability: This model is typically equipped with Ethernet or Profibus DP interfaces (depending on the specific version), supporting high-speed communication with pitch controllers (such as EPAC, EPAV series) inside the cabin.
Safety design: Built in emergency stop (E-Stop) button, equipped with an enable switch, usually supporting two or three position (Normal, Enable, Disable) switching, ensuring that the pitch command can be quickly cut off in emergency situations and ensuring the safety of the unit.
