IS215VPROH1B is a VME emergency stop protection board (VPRO) in the General Electric (GE) Mark VI gas/steam turbine control system, used for triple redundant emergency overspeed (EOS) trip protection and has replaced IS215VPROH1A.

-Function: Execute emergency overspeed protection, emergency stop, backup synchronization check, drive three independent trip solenoid valves (ETD) through TREG/TRPG terminal board, with Ethernet (IONet) communication, thermocouple and analog input
-Architecture: Inserted into the VME rack, any one of the three redundant (R8/S8/T8) can be hot swappable without interruption protection; The front panel includes RUN (green flashing), FAIL (red constant light), and STOP (orange constant light=alarm) LEDs
-Status: H1B is a functionally equivalent upgraded version of H1A, supporting dual TREG power supply (via J4); Currently (2026), it is still used in in-service gas turbine/steam turbine control systems and is an industrial critical safety card

This board does not involve voltage conversion, servo drive or general I/O, and only serves as an independent trip protection channel, working in conjunction with IS215VCMIH2B (communication), IS215UCVEH2A (main control), etc. If used for replacement or repair, it must match the Mark VI system configuration and comply with GE safety regulations.
